Postcards for Peace

What can we do when the world seems to be collapsing around us, and we feel powerless to help? When we see and hear of fellow human beings in the middle of a crisis that is not of their doing – that they did not cause or choose? While the current humanitarian crisis in Ukraine is at the forefront of our hearts and minds right now, we also remember all of the other war-torn countries and we wish for a world without wars, or conflict. Here at CLMOOC we can’t wave a magic wand and solve all of the problems of the world, but we want – we need – to reach out to others in some way.

This is why we are suggesting a round of postcards on the theme of Peace: what does peace look and feel like to you? What’s your peaceful place? If you could talk to those in power, what would your peaceful message to them be?

You might send one postcard. You might send a dozen. As always, that will be up to you.

Write. Connect. Stay happy, peaceful and healthy.

Have you already signed up to the long-running CLMOOC postcard project? If so, you’ll already have access to the addresses of others who have participated. If you don’t know where to find the list, or if you are not sure if you are on it, let one of us know by replying to us on social media (tweet to #CLMOOC) or email Sarah and we’ll check it out for you. If you have not previously signed up, all you need to do is to fill out a very short Google Form. Once you sign up, we’ll share the spreadsheet of other participants’ addresses with you and you can write to as many, or as few, as you desire.
