Suggested Theme: Share what you will carry forward beyond the Pandemic
Nearly a year and a half into the COVID Pandemic, it feels as if much of the world is at an inflection point. Vaccines are slowly, if not quickly enough, changing the landscape in many countries for the better and the closed-in world of virus containment is slowly opening up in many neighborhoods. We recognize this is not everywhere. We hope it is for you.
So what better time than this to write a postcard to a CLMOOC friend and reconnect by post?
And can we suggest that a round of CLMOOC postcards, always a source of unexpected joy in the mailbox, represent more than just connection, as important as that is, but also, as a means of reflection? We can’t emerge out of a global crisis and not learn something about ourselves, each other, the world itself, right?
In this vein, please consider writing to another CLMOOC friend with some version of the prompt: “What good has come out of the Pandemic for you? What will you hold on to and carry forward from these COVID times?”
Team #clmooc (#postcards), what do you think about this for a pop-up round of postcards: “What good has come out of the pandemic for you that you will be carrying forward?”

You might send one postcard. You might send a dozen. As always, that will be up to you.
Write. Connect. Stay healthy.
Have you already signed up to the long-running CLMOOC postcard project? If so, you’ll already have access to the addresses of others who have participated. If you don’t know where to find the list, or if you are not sure if you are on it, let one of us know by replying to us on social media (tweet to #CLMOOC) or email Sarah and we’ll check it out for you. If you have not previously signed up, all you need to do is to fill out a very short Google Form. Once you sign up, we’ll share the spreadsheet of other participants’ addresses with you and you can write to as many, or as few, as you desire.
